This is the beginning of my landscape drawing. I like the way the colors of the tree trunk were turning out, but this drawing is not completed, it was interrupted from the many snake appearances outside. I look forward to keep working on this one with the craypas.

This was our lettuce still life drawing. I found this assignment to be very frustrating at first because I did not know how to go about drawing the lettuce. I ended up using cray-pas and it came out better than I has expected. It was hard to draw and define all the leaves of lettuce and the curves of the ends of each leaf.

Model 3

This was our last model drawing of the semester. This is definitely my best work because I think I improved on the proportion and curves of the body. I think the model has much better human figure curves, especially the legs and arms, than my previous ones. I also used cray-pas to highlight and shadow certain parts of the body.

Model 2

This was a second model that we drew. This was my first experience working with the cray-pas. This drawing almost looks like it was painted because of the way the cray-pas were blended. I think the body proportions have improved since my last model drawing.

Flowers

This is a still life of flowers. This was one of my favorite drawing because I like the subject matter and i liked how the vases came out. The vases took a lot of readjusting the distance from one another to keep the flowers in proportion. The challenge of this assignment was the fresh flowers were opening as time went on.
